Today was a pretty good day. It started with me waking up at the crack of dawn to go to my first spinning class. I see now why you laughed at me when I told you I was going. I snagged a spot right in the front row so everyone could see as I struggled, sweated and almost puked everywhere. Okay, well it wasn’t really that bad but it was extremely challenging. I am going to try to go every week. I am still trying to figure out if I could go to the 6am class and get ready in time for the start of a school day but that is undetermined right now.
After class I headed home and did a few things around the house before going to lunch with your lovely sister. I feel bad telling you this but we went to Melt. I know. All that spinning and I totally cancelled it out and then some. I had the Parma, Italy and it was like chicken parmesan on a sandwich. I already picked out what I am getting when we go over your R&R, by the way. I had a nice time chatting with M, we ordered beer and did not get ID’ed AND we only waited a half hour so it was pretty awesome. Just like this sandwich:
After lunch I went to the Post Office to mail you some packages. There are so many things I want to get for you! Much to my mom’s delight I have already created a small stockpile of snacks at my house. I am trying to pace myself and keep in mind that I have a whole year to send you things, I just keep wanting to buy everything right this second.
Levi came along with me to the Post Office so afterward we could hit the DP. It was a beautiful day, sunny and right around 70 so it was very comfortable. I threw a tennis ball for Levi and accidentally hit another dog and smiled at the memory of you doing that on a few occasions. The dog was okay and kept on running like it didn’t even notice so I didn’t feel too bad.
As my Tuesday is about to end I know your Wednesday is about to start which is kind of a weird thought. I just hope that you have a really good day like the one I had today!
I know you saw the picture of the flowers online when you ordered them but I just wanted you to see how beautiful they were when they arrived:
